Academe has continually been noticed by patrons and reviewers alike.  Their signature dish, Maine Lobster Pot Pie, has been featured on both The Travel Channel "Pot Pie Paradise," and The Food Network’s “The Best Thing I Ever Ate." Brian and Shanna O'Hea, Chef~Innkeepers, enjoy playful interpretations of classical favorites and continue to challenge their culinary passions including appearences as Guest Chefs on Holland America Cruise Line,  Walt Disney World Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Boca Bacchanal, and Sugar Land Wine and Food Affair.  Shanna competed on the Food Network's  show "Chopped," "Beat Bobby Flay" and winner of "Rewrapped." Academe's bloody mary mix with Titos Vodka, Lobster roll slider, pickled veggies, olives and Brian's parmesean tater tots

2nd Signature Maine Lobster Pot Pie

Poached lobster including tail, knuckle and claw meat, peas, corn, potatoes and Shanna’s hand rolled puff pastry

3rd Lobster Corn Croquettes

Corn bisque filled with lobster meat and fresh corn, breaded and fried. Paired with fava bean, roasted red pepper and corn relish with sherry vinaigrette
